Downturn Photography Ltd.

Even as the World Wars raged, photographers went about their business impassively. Then what harm could a little economic recession possibly do?

Mr Toledano, in fact thrives on it and prowls around bankrupt offices camera-in-hand. says he, "When I started shooting bankrupt offices I found it to be more archaeology than photography. Everywhere I went I found signs of life, interrupted."
